Chamber metering valves offer one of the most accurate ways of metering lubricants. They are mainly used in the automotive industry, but also in the production of household appliances and furniture. They work according to the volumetric dosing principle. The material is discharged shot by shot via a metering piston. This ensures a metering process that is insensitive to pressure fluctuations (pressure range 25 - 150 bar). The dosing volume (0.05 to 100 ml) can be easily and quickly adjusted and fixed via a stop screw. The same valve can thus be used for different dosing quantities and end products.

DOPAG Long Life Seal concept for more output

In the course of further development, DOPAG has equipped the chamber metering valve with an improved sealing (DOPAG Long Life Seal Concept). This allows up to eight million dosing cycles with consistent accuracy. With the DOPAG Long Life Seal Concept, DOPAG has further improved the sealing technology of the series that has already proven itself over many years. Intensive field tests have shown that the average maintenance interval could be extended by a factor of 3.

Simple process monitoring

With stroke detection, the metering process can be monitored in a simple and reliable way. When filling and discharging the dosing chamber, the dosing piston is controlled by the material pressure. The stroke sensor monitors this movement and thus indirectly detects the material flow. This eliminates the need for an additional check of the metered material quantity. Stroke detection is performed magnetically via commercially available C-slot sensors. These can be installed quickly and easily and ensure reliable monitoring of the stroke movement.
