Corporate responsibility

We make our contribution when it comes to protecting the environment and using resources sustainably. The sustainability of our products and processes is therefore one of our corporate goals. 

• Production of environmental friendly technologies. Example: rotor blades for wind turbines – here DOPAG is the world market leader.
• Sustainable use of energy and resources in our technical centre. Example: We have a blasting unit for stubborn dirt, which saves solvents and allows parts to be reused more often.
• Sustainable use of energy and resources in the buildings. Example: We run major tests on equipment at night and check/maintain our compressed air system monthly.

We assume social responsibility in the most diverse areas of our corporate group. This is part of our self-image and is an important key to a functioning society.

• Work safety and health protection. Example: We have a safety officer as well as an external specialist for occupational safety.
• Social commitment. Example: We regularly support the St. Josef children's and youth home in Mannheim (Germany), in the immediate vicinity of our company headquarters.
• Fair pay and guarantee of workers' rights. Example: Individual further training concept for employees, assumption of further training costs by the company.

Compliance with recognised process standards and certifications is a matter of course for us and is lived out in our everyday lives.

• ISO 9001 certification and quality management system: The introduction and development of a quality management system (QMS) is a strategic decision that enables companies to continuously improve their overall performance and focus on providing customers with products and services of consistently high quality.

• Certification and memberships: The future, digitalisation, sustainability – these topics move us. That's why we are involved in various networks – such as the German Association of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (BVMW) – and have been house-signed several times.

• Ensuring data privacy: We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in our day-to-day activities. Our external data protection officer monitors continuous compliance with the rules laid down in the regulation and is always available to answer questions.
