What can system integrators expect from DOPAG?
Frank Bals: With us, system integrators find a partner that covers all applications and markets. We offer metering technology for greasing and oiling, bonding, sealing, potting and gasketing across all industries. We are experienced in the automotive industry as well as in the sectors of household appliances, electronics, batteries, filters, medical technology and many more. For all these applications, we develop partially and fully automated solutions that are individually tailored to the customer’s requirements.
How does DOPAG specifically help integrators?
Frank Bals: We support system integrators as well as plant engineers in the planning phase and provide them with necessary data, technical documents and comprehensive advice. If there are any questions they are able to contact us at any time. We support system integrators in preparing an offer and help them ultimately to win the contract. But that’s not all. Our entire team works together with our customers to develop the best solution. We assist our customers from planning and commissioning to ongoing production and maintenance.
How exactly does a project or collaboration with DOPAG work for system integrators?
Frank Bals: Our job is to design metering and mixing systems individually and according to our customer’s requirements. Afterwards, we integrate them into fully automated production lines. When developing a system concept we are working closely together with the customer in several project stages. First of all, we process the enquiry, incorporate data sheets, sketches, etc. and produce an initial design. If necessary, we carry out initial tests at our technical centre during this phase. We then prepare an indicative price offer, which is being reviewed by the customer. Depending on the project, we carry out further tests in co-operation with the customer and then prepare a fixed price quotation. After the order is placed, the project planning phase as well as the detailed configuration are following. At that point, our project team works closely with the customer. Once the system has been completed, it is accepted, delivered and put into operation on-site.
What is the role of DOPAG’s international network, and how can system integrators leverage it for their advantage?
Frank Bals: For system integrators, a global presence is critical, and that is exactly what our distribution network and global offices offer. This enables us to integrate identical production lines around the globe with our metering technology. At the same time we provide the necessary support during ongoing operations. Our long-standing personal contacts and partnerships, some of which have existed for more than 30 years, make a significant contribution to our success.
